Leading West End law firm Seddons GSC has announced the expansion of its Residential Real Estate team with the appointment of Partner Ben Marks. Ben brings more than 20 years’ experience in property law and joins Seddons GSC from RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP, where he was a Partner and Head of Residential Property for five years.
Ben has built a substantial client following throughout his career, acting for a diverse client base of developers, lenders, investors, and high-net-worth individuals across the sport, music, and television industries. He advises on a range of residential property matters and has extensive experience handling residential property, investment portfolios, and development projects. In 2019, Ben co-founded Tibber Marks Solicitors, a commercial and residential property practice that merged with RIAA Barker Gillette in 2021. Prior to this, Ben was Head of the Property Department at Moerans Solicitors.

Ben Marks’ appointment follows the recent announcement of Consultant David Seal and Associate Emma Clifford joining the Commercial Real Estate team at Seddons GSC, further highlighting the firm’s commitment to delivering a full-service Real Estate offering. The Residential Real Estate team advises international and domestic clients, including private individuals, corporate entities, and investors, on all aspects of residential property. The team provides comprehensive legal services related to the buying, selling, and management of property, specialising in conveyancing, high-value transactions, lease extensions, enfranchisement, and residential development.
