Background & Biography

Cara is an Associate in the Family Team at Seddons. She joined Seddons, in 2023, as a newly qualified solicitor, having trained at Howard Kennedy.

Cara deals with a variety of cases that extend to all areas of private family law including divorce, financial remedy negotiations and proceedings, private child law cases and nuptial agreements. She also deals with cases where agreements are reached outside of the Court process.

Cara’s advice is tailored to the client’s needs from the outset to ensure that they feel supported throughout their matter, and, as a member of Resolution, she is committed to resolving familial conflict in a constructive way.

Cara has recently:

  • Acting in a financial remedy matter where a number of family members were joined to the proceedings due to their interest in the family trust assets that formed part of the matrimonial pot.
  • Acting for a mother in respect of her child arrangements application, where allegations of domestic abuse were made.
  • Acting for a client in a matter where there are allegations of significant non-disclosure.
  • Acting for clients and obtaining non-molestation and occupation orders for several clients.
  • Advising on pre and post nuptial agreements.
