Martin is a Consultant in our Corporate team, having joined in 2023. He is a highly articulate and credible corporate and commercial solicitor with 40 years’ experience in private practice, combining wide sector knowledge with commercial acumen and an imaginative analytical approach to clients’ legal requirements.
Martin’s ability clearly to explain complex issues at all levels has resulted in a number of board roles, including secretarial and compliance guidance for an international airline.
Martin’s has considerable experience advising on disposals and acquisitions of companies and businesses, domestic and cross-border, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (including SaaS), negotiating hotel franchise and management agreements, drafting and negotiating construction documents, acting for developers, owners, funders, contractors and professional consultants, and dealing with matters such as funding rounds and private equity, Corporate Governance, strategic advice and problem solving, and franchising.
Prior to joining Seddons, Martin had been part of a small team that opened the London office of a Manchester-based practice.
