Neil Russell, Partner and Head of Family, appeared on LBC in a discussion with Nick Ferrari about litigation conduct in divorce.
Asked whether divorce has become more combative, Neil highlighted that “with technology, things have [become] more instant”, with people expecting faster responses and receiving communications at the touch of a button.
Neil also discussed the role lawyers play in protecting clients, often acting as counsellors too. He advised that parties should “focus on the issues, not the person”, adding: “There is a great difference between hard-fought litigation and unreasonable litigation conduct.”
