Peter Belcher

Peter is a Partner and Co-Head of our Commercial Real Estate Department. He specialises in commercial property transactions, with a focus on secured lending in the hotel, leisure, banking, health, and social care sectors. He represents leading franchisees, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and financial institutions, including Santander, NatWest, and Bank of Singapore.

Described as a “master tactician,” Peter enjoys the challenge of guiding clients through complex deals. “I use the rules as a framework to get deals done, not an opportunity to score points.” With transactions spanning multiple jurisdictions, he ensures all elements align seamlessly.

A pragmatist and facilitator, Peter believes enjoying the process strengthens client relationships. “A client once told me I tell them what they think before they know they’re thinking it. That’s what comes from lasting relationships.”
