Speaking with Nick Ferrari on LBC, Head of Family Neil Russell comments on the no-fault divorce law that came into effect this past April. Neil says, “Any divorce or separation that can begin less acrimoniously is better than a divorce that begins with trouble. No-fault divorce is a good thing.”
Commenting on the number of divorces in England and Wales reaching its highest level in 10 years, Neil describes the “slightly alarming” increase of 22% increase from the previous year (for the time period of April-June) as a massive increase. He further explains that some of the increase is due to couples waiting for the no-fault divorce law to come into effect.
