We are thrilled to announce that Seddons is strengthening its partnership with the appointment of six new full equity partners.
Sangeeta Somchand, Daniel Robin, Emily Lui, Simon Noonoo, Moshe Moses and Christian Smith will become full equity partners in the firm with immediate effect. These are the first full equity partner promotions following Seddons’ conversion to an LLP in 2019, and reflect Seddons’ commitment to building and expanding its partnership to position the firm to target growth across its core practice areas into 2023 and beyond.
Sangeeta Somchand is Head of the Commercial Real Estate department and joined Seddons in 2014 as a partner. She specialises in development, commercial property real estate, and ancillary Landlord and Tenant Act work. She is also experienced in industrial site acquisitions, infrastructure plot sale work and landlord and tenant management work including statutory lease renewals.
Daniel Robin is a Partner in the Real Estate Dispute Resolution team, having joined the firm in 2007. He acts in a variety of matters including landlord and tenant issues and wider commercial and corporate disputes for publicly traded companies listed on FTSE 250, property developers, banks and tertiary lenders, high net worth clients, corporate clients and private landlords and tenants.
Emily Lui is the Co-Head of the Residential Property Team and joined the firm in 2008 as an assistant solicitor. She acts for homeowners, buy-to-let onshore and overseas investors, developers and investment companies, high net worth individuals, and private banking institutions.
Simon Noonoo is a Partner in the Real Estate Finance team. He acts for secured lenders, entrepreneurial individuals, businesses, and high net-worth clients, advising predominantly on investment in commercial property. He joined the firm in 2014 as a partner.
Moshe Moses is a Partner the Residential Real Estate team, specialising in residential property sales and acquisitions. Moshe trained at the firm, qualifying in 2010 and became a partner in 2016. He represents an extensive client base of high net worth private clients, domestic and overseas investors, property companies, banks, trusts and property developers.
Christian Smith is the Head of Dispute Resolution and has over 20 years’ experience representing individual and corporate clients in matters including shareholder disputes, insolvency proceedings, claims for breaches of director’s duties and seeking or defending injunctions. He joined the firm in 2013 as a partner.
