The Times featured research undertaken by Seddons and The Marriage Foundation in their recent article, “Are you sure you want to split up? Read this before you divorce!”
The research involved a nationwide survey of over 2,000 adults to gauge the use and understanding of contracts to protect individuals in a relationship in the event of a separation, focussing on pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
The Times highlighted the findings on the financial impacts of divorce, stating that 24 per cent of respondents said one of the biggest regrets they have is the financial consequence of divorce.
