David has a broad range of commercial litigation experience acting for claimants and defendants in a wide range of matters including contractual disputes, reputation management, commercial disputes, company and shareholder disputes and also professional negligence.

David has an established reputation management practice acting in proceedings for defamation, malicious falsehood, misuse of private information – often against social media companies. Currently David is at the vanguard of litigation arising from deepfakes and the reputational damage created by the publication of these.

Through his high net worth work David has developed a specialism in matters involving freezing injunctions and has obtained freezing injunctions as well as acting for those against whom a freezing order has been made with urgency and sensitivity.

David seeks early resolution of matters wherever possible and understands the need for clear, concise advice in a timely manner.
