Background & Biography

James is an Associate in the Commercial Real Estate team, advising a broad range of clients including developers, property companies, high-net-worth individuals and investors with substantial portfolios. He has experience across a wide range of real estate matters, including the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold interests, including commercial and mixed-use property assets.

 

James also advises on landlord and tenant matters, development work including commercial and airspace schemes and the negotiation of option and promotion agreements. He regularly advises borrowers on property finance matters, acting in connection with all aspects of their secured lending arrangements.

Prior to qualifying, James was a Trainee Solicitor at Seddons and completed seats in our Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Residential Real Estate teams.

James read Law at the University of Westminster, graduating with a First Class Degree. He then completed the LPC, obtaining a Distinction.
