Saleem Sheikh

Senior Partner

Background & Biography

Saleem’s private and corporate clients span continents, relying on his expertise in international tax, arbitration, and dispute resolution. His support goes beyond legal advice—he takes on his clients’ challenges as his own, finding solutions through his expertise and by collaborating with SeddonsGSC’s corporate, real estate, and family law teams.
“For me, clients are not just cases,” Saleem explains. “I build real relationships. Whether resolving disputes, safeguarding businesses, or advising families, I am their lawyer and trusted advisor.” His clients value his sincerity and commitment, many working with him for decades and now entrusting him with the next generation.

Saleem trained at GSC Solicitors (then Green David Conway and Co.), became a partner in 1985, Managing Partner in 1990, and Senior Partner in 2001. A London School of Economics graduate, he is a solicitor, an Advocate in Pakistan, and a chartered arbitrator. He is fluent in multiple languages and actively advises charities and startups.

Recognised in the CityWealth Leaders List, Saleem was Magic Circle Awards’ ‘Entrepreneurial Individual of the Year’ and a 100 Power Muslim. Leading GSC since 2001, his vision remains clear: “To be a first-class law firm for the 21st century—staffed not just by good lawyers, but by good people.”
