Steffan is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Disputes department. He advises on a range of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, debt recovery, partnership disputes and insolvency proceedings. He is experienced in complex and large disputes across nearly all levels of the court system.
Steffan also has over 9 years of experience as a Privy Council Agent and has acted on a variety of high profile and high value appeals. He provides specialist advice and support to law firms from Commonwealth jurisdictions when bringing their clients’ appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London. For over 7 years, Steffan has been a member of the Supreme Court & Privy Council User Group member (chaired by Lord Hodge) and he regularly proposes and comments on amendments to the Rules and Practice Directions.
