Justin is the firm’s Head of Intellectual Property and, with over 20 years’ experience, oversees his department’s work in protecting and licensing the intellectual property rights of the firm’s clients.
Justin has substantial experience in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, particularly in the field of music and copyright.
Justin has managed litigation in the Copyright Tribunal, High Court, Intellectual Property Enterprise Court and County Court.
Justin’s work also covers the registration, licensing and transfer of intellectual property rights, both in the UK and across multiple territories.
Justin and his team provide expertise in such matters across a wide range of clients and situations, from high volume enforcement litigation to individual cases involving important legal issues and complex factual scenarios.
Furthermore, Justin has for many years been closely involved with copyright policy and statutory reform, including the numerous issues raised by the development of AI technologies.
